Beyond the Summit explained the reason for the amnesty of STEEL-_-BORCO, SZABO666, and P1
Tournament organizer Beyond the Summit has published an email on their personal Twitter page explaining the reasons for the amnesty of three players, ??Ilyas "Steel-_-Borco" Kaukenov, ??-Ched "Szabo666" Szabo, and ??P1.
During the DPC's second season in North America, teams Wind and Rain and Pecado Squad Gaming were repeatedly involved in match-fixing, as indicated by an internal investigation. After receiving all the information, BTS and Valve decided to ban all members of these teams.
After the bans, they continued to work with all players to find out who exactly was involved in the match-fixing or had known of what was going on. After further investigation, it turned out that ??Steel-_-Borco, ??Szabo666, and ??P1 are innocent, and they got amnesty. Another 3 players, ??Wdr, ??Duffy, and ??qqqqqqqq, will be unbanished after the current DPC season is over. And ??yol, ??satesate, ??Sword, and ??Sensibility remain with a lifetime ban.
