BLAST Slam 3 Semi-Finals Preview – Who Will Make It To The Finals?
The grueling King of the Hill format at Blast Slam III continues, as we’re quickly down to the final four. Two single-elimination matchups will determine the two teams that will compete for the Slam trophy.
Team Falcons vs. Team Spirit
Team Spirit have been on a run, taking down Team Liquid and PARIVISION before Team Tidebound just yesterday. They’ve mustered a lot of momentum through their do-or-die run, just like they did at The International 10 to win $18,000,000.
Despite a disappointing Group Stage exit at PGL Wallachia Season 4, Team Falcons performed exceptionally well on the Group Stage to begin their Playoff run at the Semi Final. They were able to sit out the previous matches and analyze their opponents and what to expect.
The two teams played against each other in the Group Stage, where the MENA squad took the win after a back-and-forth 49-minute game. However, Team Spirit are riding the wave and look like a completely different beast. Can Team Falcons turn up and return to their glory days?
Gaimin Gladiators vs. Tundra Esports
The Gaimin Gladiators had a respectable 3-1 Group Stage run, and took down Aurora in a 2-0 series yesterday. They have been silent for the entire 2025 season so far, and are finally making their mark at Blast Slam III.
Tundra Esports look as stable as ever, as the 33-led squad secured the top seed in their group. However, since integrating Crystallis to the roster, Tundra Esports have struggled in the later portions of the tournament.
Has Crystallis finally found comfort in the new Tundra Esports roster, or will we finally see the Gaimin Gladiators in another LAN final, just like the old days? Tundra Esports comes into the series as slight favorites, but we never know what Quinn can bring to the table.
