Team Liquid Welcomes SaberLight
Yesterday, Team Liquid announced that 33 would be leaving the team, even after the squad won The International 2024. With massive shoes to fill, Team Liquid made the easy choice and picked up SabeRLighT to complete the roster. Coach Blitz revealed that miCKe will be the new captain and drafter for the team.
The new Team Liquid roster includes:
SabeRLighT spent most of the 2024 season playing for Shopify Rebellion, but left the team in the middle of the year due to internal issues. Since then, he has not been on any professional teams.
SabeRLighT had already played with Team Liquid previously, as he was called to stand in for the team at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. With SabeRLighT’s help, Team Liquid finished third place.
We can see Team Liquid’s new roster perform at PGL Wallachia Season 2, which will run from October 4 to 13.
