The 10th-anniversary tournament of The International has come to an end. Team Spirit sensationally became the champion of the tournament, beating PSG.LGD with a 3:2 score in the grand final. The team from CIS earned $18,208,300 for the victory.
Interestingly, before the tournament began, the CIS team was considered an outsider. The odds on their championship ranged from 30 to 40. In the grand final, Team Spirit wasn't a favorite also: the odds on their victory were 3.3-4.
